Learning Outcomes

The student learns to calculate, dimension, design and manufacture a product entity. The student understands how a gearbox is part of the drive system and how the system can be monitored. S/He gets practice in acting as a team member. The student understands the significance of the design to manufacturability and manufacturing costs.

Student's Workload

Total work load of the course: 135 h
- of which scheduled studies: 60 h
- of which autonomous studies: 75 h
The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.
