Learning Outcomes

The student knows the structure of large-scale automation systems and their implementations from the point of view of energy industry as well as other industry and facilities using efficient, large-scale automation systems.

Student's Workload

Total work load of the course: 135 h
- of which scheduled studies: 60 h
- of which autonomous studies: 75 h
The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Prerequisites / Recommended Optional Courses

IKA0608 Machine Automation 2

Contents

The knowledge of logics is deepened in the course, e.g. through efficient logic systems and processing of analogue signals. Smart sensors used in logic controls and control and automation entities are also looked into, e.g. via form of servo- and proportional systems.
