Learning Outcomes
The student is familiar with the technologies used in energy production and with the future prospects of energy production and consumption. The student is able to consider the methods of energy production from the environmental point of view.

Contents
The emphasis is on the energy production methods utilised currently but also on the methods the use of which will increase in the future. This gives a a good basis to study also the future models in enrgy production and consumption. Environmental impacts are an essential part of the study unit.
