Learning Outcomes
After completing this course, the student will be able to cope with basic everyday situations in Finnish, such as introducing him/herself, shopping, traveling, and dealing with daily routines, e.g. at the market, restaurant, or café.
Student's Workload
18 h of scheduled contact studies.
The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

No prior knowledge of Finnish required.
Contents
Words, phrases, and simple structures with pronunciation practice in everyday key situations, such as greetings, expressions when shopping and buying, expressions of time and place, and colors.
