Learning Outcomes

The student will learn the fundaments of the Windows programming language as well as how to build interactive GUI applications, which are capable of communicating with files and databases. After the course the student will be able to build demanding Windows applications using the course programming language.

Student's Workload

135 h, which contains 70 h of scheduled contact studies.

Contents

Fundamentals and interesting features of the course programming language, GUI components, event handling, File I/O, XML processing, database communication.

Assessment Criteria

Grade 5: Student is capable of applying learnt knowledge and skills in a creative way.

Grade 1: Student has very basic knowledge about the course contents.
