Learning Outcomes
The aim of the course is to familiarize the student with the basics, structure and activities of Linux. After the course, the student has comprehensive knowledge of the most frequently used Linux commands and can work naturally in a Linux environment, know how to handle files and processes, and write shell scripts.

Exercises in computer class. Short lectures during exercises.
Assessment Criteria
Grade 5: Capable of producing script programs.
Grade 3: Capable of managing the Linux system.
Grade 1: Knows how to install and use Linux from both a graphical device and a terminal.
Assessment Methods
Exercises 50 %, mini quizzes 30 % and final examination/project 20 %.
