Learning Outcomes
On completion of the course, the student knows the fundamental networks services and the network hardware, devices, and software required for a domain-based network. The student knows how to plan and deploy the core components required for a fully functioning network and a new Active Directory domain in a new forest. In addition student know how to deploy additional technologies for a domain based network.

Contents
The fundamental network services including Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS), name service DNS, DHCP service, Hyper-V virtualization, File services. Computer, user and group objects in AD database. AD replication. Additional technologies including Web Server (IIS), Group policies, Network Policy Server (NPS), Routing and Remote Access Service (RRAS), Server Certificate.

Assessment Criteria
Grade 5: The student understands most of the concepts discussed, is able to plan and deploy all of the fundamental services and features and most of the additional features.
Grade 3: The student understands the concepts discussed in considerable part, is able to plan and deploy all of the fundamental services and features and some of the additional features.
Grade 1: The student understands the basic concepts of the subject treated, is able to deploy most of the fundamental services and features.
