Learning Outcomes
The course is divided into two different subject areas, one of which deals with safety and the other with producing a technical report.
In the course, the student learns to understand occupational safety as an essential part of professional ethics. After the course, the student becomes aware of the importance of occupational safety and protection and knows the operating methods used to maintain and develop workplace safety. Completion of work safety and emergency first aid studies is an essential part of completing the course. The student learns to know the safety regulations related to electrical work and to take care of work safety in the laboratory, electrical work and electrical work planning, as well as to act correctly in the event of an electrical accident.
The student is able to produce stylish reports and presentations efficiently with tool programs, knows how to describe the goals of his own degree program, professional image, as well as the expectations of the local labor market and opportunities in an international business environment. After completing the course, the student can use the information systems and learning platforms of both VAMK and the University of Vaasa, can use the educational institutions' guidance services and use information search tools. In addition, he knows how to work in a study community with students and staff, creating a common spirit and taking responsibility for his own learning.
