Learning Outcomes
After finishing the course the student will be able to cope in basic everyday situations in Finnish, such as introducing herself, shopping, travelling, dealing with daily routines, e.g. at the market, restaurant or café.
Student's Workload
20 h of scheduled contact studies.
The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

No prior knowledge of Finnish required.
Contents
Words, phrases and simple structures with pronunciation practice in everyday key situations, such as greetings, expressions when shopping and buying, expressions of time and place, colours.
