Recommended or Required Reading and Other Learning Resources/Tools

Heikki Esala: Teoreettinen Sähkötekniikka 1 (chapters 3-4 and formula collection) in pdf-format

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The AC theory and it appliance in practice is first looked into during lectures. After this, the students independently apply the learnt skills by solving practical calculations and assignments. The solutions to the calculations and assignments are gone through during lessons.

Assessment Criteria

Grade 5: The student is able to apply creatively the contents of the course.

Grade 3: The student is well-abled to utilize the course contents.

Grade 1: The student knows those subjects of the course, which are necessary for the forthcoming studies and working life.

Assessment Methods

Exam and activity demonstrated in calculations and assignments.
