Learning Outcomes

The student will get familiar with production planning for the implementation phase of a house construction project and receives basic information on production control methods. The student knows the basic concepts and scheduling and resourcing methods. The student is able to draw up a schedule and resource plan for a house contriction project.

The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Contents

Forms and levels of schedules, consolidation of schedules in a company, slash scheduling, synchronisation and rhythming of construction work, schedule monitoring and schedule control.

Lectures, application examples, assignment. The study unit is part of Site Planning common core theme.

Grade 1: The student knows the contents of the study unit that are relevant in working life.
Grade 3: The student is able to utilise the information and skills learnt during the study unit.
Grade 5: The student is able to utilise and apply the information and skills learnt during the study unit.

Exam and written assignment. Numerical assessment.
