Learning Outcomes

After the study unit, the student is familiar with the periodic system, knows the clasiification of elements and basic concepts in chemistry. S/He knows the chemical reactions and phenomena related to energy production. The student will be famialiarised with chemistry of materials and understands potential applications of new materials. The student will leran to know physical chemistry, especially from the point of view of energy production. S/he will be aware of the burden to the environments caused by industry and of the necessity of minimising this burden.

Student's Workload

The total amount of student's work is 81 h, which contains 36 h of contact studies.
The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.
