Learning Outcomes

The student knows the principles of different energy production systems. He knows the basics of production cost formation and can participate to the actual discussion in question.

The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Contents

Steam power plants. Engine driven power plants. Gas turbine power plants. Pressurized power plants. Nuclear power plants. District heating. Subprocesses in energy production (cooling lubricating, exhaust gases).
