Learning Outcomes

The student will understand the role of statics in engineering design and the principle stages in a structural design process and its role in engineering design. The student understands the product development process, the evolution of technology and the product development as a continouous process. He/she learns to carry out a product development project and will recognize its success factors.

Student's Workload

Total work load of the course: 81 h
- of which scheduled studies: 42 h
- of which autonomous studies: 39 h
The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.
