Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, students should be able to:
• Recognise the key stages in energy facility project planning.
• Identify criteria for site and technology selection.
• Understand basic principles of plant layout and design.
• Describe environmental and safety considerations.
• Participate in discussions based on case examples.

Prerequisites / Recommended Optional Courses
Student must have completed the General basic studies as well as the Basic professional study module courses such as Renewable Energy, Electrical Systems, Process Engineering, and Components of Energy Facility.
Contents
This advanced course introduces the planning and construction principles of energy-producing facilities. Students will learn about key project stages, site and technology selection, plant layout basics, and environmental considerations. The course includes conventional and renewable energy systems, such as thermal, nuclear, biomass, wind, and solar power plants. Case studies and real-world examples will support learning.
