Learning Outcomes

This course can be held in English language, to make students acquainted with heat energy terminology in English language. Students will learn the different types of heat transfer mechanisms and learn to calculate heat transfer in different scenarios and mediums.

Student's Workload

Total workload for the student 135 h, of which shcduled studies 50 h and 85 h of independent study. Assessment 1 h is included.

Contents

In this course students will learn basics of thermodynamics, understand and perform calculation in heat transfer mechanisms, basic concepts of thermal resistance and practical heat conduction problems. The students will understand basics of calculate heating and cooling of fluids under different conditions.
