Learning Outcomes
Upon completing the Production Management course, students will understand the strategic role of production management in organizations, focusing on Lean Manufacturing and Just-In-Time (JIT) methodologies. They will learn to apply principles such as continuous improvement, waste elimination, and customer-focused quality while optimizing production layouts using cellular manufacturing. Additionally, students will gain knowledge of quality management tools like Poka Yoke and Jidoka to minimize defects and ensure consistent quality. Through reflective practices, they will enhance their ability to improve processes and contribute to operational excellence.
