Learning Outcomes

Upon completing this course, students will have developed the ability to analyze the role of knowledge as a strategic asset and design effective knowledge management strategies for international business contexts. They will understand the complexities of organizational, cultural, and technological environments and their influence on knowledge management practices. Students will gain proficiency in applying knowledge management frameworks, such as Nonaka’s SECI model, to capture, share, and utilize knowledge effectively. They will also learn to leverage digital tools and emerging technologies, including AI and cloud computing, to enhance knowledge processes. Furthermore, students will be equipped to address ethical challenges, foster innovation, and adapt knowledge management strategies to diverse cultural and global business scenarios.

Prerequisites / Recommended Optional Courses

Students enrolling in this course should have a basic understanding of business concepts, such as management and organizational behavior, as well as familiarity with digital tools and platforms commonly used in business contexts. While prior coursework in international business is recommended, it is not mandatory. These foundational skills will enable students to engage effectively with the course material and participate in discussions and case analyses.
