Learning Outcomes
The student will familiarize with the Finnish legal system and various legal systems around the world, and their significance in business.
Upon completing the course, the student will have an understanding of the role and significance of legislation in society and business.
The student will master the basic knowledge of contract and obligation law required in working life and business activities. The student will have a clear and structured overall picture of the basic principles of contract law and will also be familiar with the meaning of the special contract law. The student will also be able to evaluate a company's activities from a competition law perspective and apply competition legislation in practical business operations. Additionally, the student will master the basics related to the creation of debt relationships and debt securities and understand these as part of the company's operations. The student will be able to critically assess contract and obligation law as well as competition law issues as part of the company's operations in society.

Visitors and examples from international companies operating in our region are utilized when possible.

This course provides an international dimension through diverse material examples and student perspectives. Students act in multicultural teams as part of the course. According to the possibilities connections to business life are used to provide real-life examples from the field of international business
