Learning Outcomes

To provide students with the tools and skills required to understand research terminology and methodology, in order to conduct research projects typical for bachelor level.

The assesment of student's own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Prerequisites / Recommended Optional Courses

General and professional basic studies during the first study year.

Contents

Research terminology. Research as a process. Defining the research problem and identifying research methods best suited for solving it. Validity and reliability. Research ethics. Writing and presenting a thesis proposal for final thesis.

Regional Impact

Students are writing their thesis proposals in order to be able to contact and cooperate with the international companies in the region.

Internationality

Students are working in an international learning environment.

Assessment means pass/fail. In order to pass the course, the student has to attend the scheduled studies, actively participate in class activities and complete the required assignments.
