Basic concepts in international transport logistics and supply chain management. Characteristics of international supply chains. Supply chain strategies. Impacts of global environment. Future trends.

Regional Impact

Supply chain management plays an important role in the regional international companies, which are invited to give guest lectures during the course

Internationality

In addition to teamwork in international student teams, students learn from international companies and their supply chains

Assessment Criteria

5 The student can utilize and apply the theories, concepts and methods of international supply chain management. The student can produce written material on them and communicate about the issues to various target groups. Student shows his/her understanding of the development needs in the field by analyzing and assessing professional issues.
3 The student understands the essential theories, concepts and methods of international supply chain management, by presenting both oral and written information on them. Student recognizes the development needs in the field and gives justified solutions when acting in tasks of an expert.
1 The student utilizes and communicates the essential theories, concepts and methods of international supply chain management. Student finds the development needs in the field and acts in various groups.
