Learning Outcomes

The student understands the interaction between environmental issues and economy and is able to assess the effect of different regulations and incentives based on the given examples

Student's Workload

The total amount of student's work is 81 h, which contains 56 h of contact studies.

Contents

Basic concepts of economics and environmental economics. Public policy regulations and incentives for environmental protection. Pollution and its regulation, optimal level of pollution. Sustainable use of resources. Topical issues of environmental economics.
