Learning Outcomes

The student is familiar with design and implementation methods used in matching nature base and urban structure and with the methods of environmental restoration. The student is able to take into account both the factors of nature base and functionality of the entity in the planning of environmental use. The student is able to develop the nature base of a place according to sustainable development and leaning on landscape structure theory.

Student's Workload

Total work load of the course: 81 h
- of which scheduled studies:42 h
- of which autonomous studies: 39 h

Prerequisites / Recommended Optional Courses

Common core basic studies.

Contents

Modelling the line of development based on landscape structure of a build-up environment, planning and control; principles of environmental restoration of landscape structure; advancing the line of development of water landscape in build-up environment; sustainable storm water strategies; green area system as a part of functional nature base, interaction of the functions of nature bse and community, locality as a starting point for developing sustainable and functional built-up environment.

Recommended or Required Reading and Other Learning Resources/Tools
