Learning Outcomes

The student is familiar with the most common air pollution control technologies and their applications. The student is able to calculate the amount and content of exhaust gases and to assess their dispersion with a simple model.

Student's Workload

The total amount of student's work is 105 h, which contains 70 h of contact studies.

Air Protection, Chemistry

Contents

Combustion. Emission control and monitoring. Removal of particles, oxides of sulphur and nitrogen from exhaust gases. Reduction of VOC emissions. Dispersion modeling.
