Learning Outcomes
The student gets acquainted with Computer Aided Design software as a tool. He/she masters the basics of 2D design and its tools.
The student is familiar with digital maps of town planning, municipal networks and different environmental plans.
Student's Workload
Total work load of the course 135 h, of which scheduled studies 42 h and independent work 39 h.

Contents
CAD software as a design tool, maps and geographic information. Planning standards for municipal networks
Producing a street plan using CAD software.

Materials produced by the Lecturer.
Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods
Lectures and exercises using CAD software.
Practical exercises consist of smaller assignments (parking lot, park, street and market place) and one larger course work.
Assignments are carried out partly during the classes and partly independently.
Assessment Criteria
Grade 1: The student knows those subjects of the course, which are necessary for the forthcoming studies and working life.
Grade 3: The student is well-abled to utilize the course contents.
Grade 5: The student is able to apply creatively the contents of the course.
