Learning Outcomes
To establish a holistic understanding concerning the story line development as well as interaction between the nature and human cultural eras. To study into historical continuities and discontinuities of the man made cultures. To focus on the principles of environmental sustainability and the strategies for future cultural environments.
Contents
Historical development of cultural environment, typology and vocabulary of man made environments, locality and sustainability, cultivation and production forming the landscape, building traditions and environmental values in cultural environments, guidelines and principles for protecting the cultural environments, strategies for sustainable urban and rural areas, international connections of the environmental cultures.
