Learning Outcomes

The student is able to approach problems from a wide professional angle and is familiar with control and objectives of the quality and development of the state of the living environment. The student knows the starting points and objectives of the monitoring of the state of living student gets to know working methods and adopts the cross-scientific approach required by the monitoring. The student develops his/her skills to form a holistic view on components constituting the living environment, to model the state of the living environment, its quality and factors influencing the further development of the quality.

Contents

Components of the monitoring of the state of the environment and databases, modelling environmental changes and guiding the development, legislative objectives for the monitoring of the state of environment, factors constituting the quality of the living environment, interactions between environmental factors and their evaluation, modelling the development of urban structure, impressiveness of environmental objectives in decision-making, participation of citizens, design communications and how to implement it, the significance of the social dimension of environment.
