Learning Outcomes

To get acquainted with the geographic information system applications in the inventory and management of the natural resources and in evaluating the state of environment. To learn to evaluate and specify the quality available in common information references. To learn to produce and analyse normal geographic information.

Contents

Methods for using and managing the geographic information data and database resources. The strategies of geographic information systems applied on the local, national and international levels.
To apply geographic information data especially to land-use planning and to the evaluation of the state of the environment.
