Learning Outcomes
The student acknowledges and gets acquainted with the measuring and abatement methods of chemical, physical and biological issues causing health hazards in the work environment.
Contents
Chemical safety and basics of toxicology. Dust, particles, noise and microbes in work environment. Risk assessment and measuring methods. Laboratory demonstrations of microbe and particle measurements, ventilation measuring, and chemical analyses of indoor air pollutants.

Numeric assessment. Exam, laboratory exercises and excursion report. Additionally the student writes a report about his/her training placement concentrating on work environment issues.
