To provide understanding of soil and groundwater protection as well as improvement of student's problem-solving abilities in case of soil remediation and industrial by-products
Contents
Typical soil and groundwater pollutants, their sources, propagation and effects as well as risk assessment. Effect of permeability on pollutant transportation. Investigation and remediation of polluted soil. Environmental protection structures and landfill structures. Use of waste and industrial by-products in infrastructures.
