The student will understand how the atmosphere functions and gets acquainted with the environmental effects of air pollutants.
Contents
Terminology of air and climate protection, international aims. Structure and functioning of the atmosphere, atmospheric chemistry. Air quality control and assessment. Ozone depletion and climate change. The effects of energy production and traffic on air quality.
