Learning Outcomes
Course will give in-depth knowledge of database functionality and features. During practices we learn create and use databases in workstation and web environment. After this course student can implement database application.
Student's Workload
The total amount of student's work is 81 h, which contains 42 h of contact studies in the youth program and 30 h of contact studies in the adult program. The remaining time is used for individual studies.
The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Object Oriented Programming.
Contents
Relational databases, basics of SQL language, database systems and tools. Database connectors and Optimised SQL statements. Database design process.

Assessment Criteria
Grade 5: Student understands most (around 90 %) course concepts and is capable of developing applications with advanced features.
Grade 3: Student understands a considerable portion (around 60 %) of course concepts and is capable of developing applications with moderate number of functions.
Grade 1: Student understands basic (around 40 %) course concepts and is capable of developing simple applications.
