Learning Outcomes

Student will get an overview of the telecommunication engineering, master the concepts related to the subject, understand the general phenomena appearing in it and know how to apply knowledge to practice.

Basics of Computer Networks.

Contents

The concepts, units and methods of the telecommunication engineering. Signals and Spectra. Types of modulations. Noise. Electromagnetic fields and waves; filters, transmission lines, antennas and propagation of radio waves. Optical transmission. Basic idea of different telecommunication equipment, networks and systems.

Lectures, assignments and laboratory exercises.
