Learning Outcomes
The student learns to understand and read various drawings in electronics, ICT, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering. After completed studies, the student understands the meaning of how to draw up technical documents, in addition to being able to use computer aided documentation methods. The student also understands the meaning of how ot manage the documentation.

Contents
Basics of drawings in electronics, electricity, and ICT. Computer-aided drawing and planning. Eliciting information from CAD files and managing documentation.

Material provided by the teacher at the beginning of the course. Autocar 2010. Dokumenttien hallinta, Juha Anttila, IT-press.
Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods
Exercises in a computer class with short lectures. Independent practice and getting familiar with the material.
Assessment Criteria
Grade 5: The student masters technical drawing and modelling and understands the meaning of document management and is familiar with the basic measurements in document management.
Grade 3: The student knows how to draw symmbols by using electric diagram, and the student knows how to draw up simple 3D models.
Grade 1: The student knows how to draw simple mechanical structure and drawing standards by means of the Autocad software.
Assessment Methods
Obligatory tasks and assignments 50 % and an examination 50 %.
