Learning Outcomes

The student learns the operational mechanism and use of the FPGA circuits. (S)he learns to use the VHDL language in executing digital applications. The student becomes familiar with the design of programmable system circuits.

Student's Workload

The total amount of student's work is 81 h, containing 42 h of scheduled contact studies.

Contents

The structure and properties of the FPGA circuits. The design, simulation and execution of logical operations with logical circuits, using the VHDL description. Execution of process-based system by using a programmable system circuit.

1: The student knows the basics of programmable logic circuits.
