Learning Outcomes

The student will learn to know the variety of digital components. (S)he will become familiar with the electrical properties of micro circuits, and learns how to connect these to each other. The student will understand the structure and working principle of micro processors.

Student's Workload

The total amount of student's work is 81 h, containing 42 h of scheduled contact studies.

Contents

The building blocks of sequence logics. Digital components and their electrical properties. Design and simulation of basic connections. Basics of micro processor technology.

Assessment Criteria

1: Knows the operational principle and components of sequence logics.
3: Is able to find out the operational principle of a simple circuit.
5: Knows digital electronics widely and is able to apply her/his knowledge to desinging a specified connection.
