Learning Outcomes
The student will understand common phenomena appearing in telecommunications and will know how to apply them in the operation of the hardware.
Contents
Terms, units and descriptions used in telecommunications. Signals in time and frequency graphs. Modulations. Noise. Filters. Electromagnetic fields and waves; wires, antennae amd propagation of radio waves. Hardware, networks and systems of telecommunications. Principles of optical transfer. Telecommunication satellites.
