The student obtains the basic information and implementation methods for the design and installation of security and communication systems in buildings.

Contents

Orders of the authorities, applying standards and ST cardfiles in the design and installation of security and communcation systems in buildings. Structures of security systems, general cabling and antenna networks, dimensioning principles, installation methods and interference tolarance. Applying the practices learnt in Engineering of Electrical Systems in the design of security and communication systems. Practical assignment.

Authority regulations, laws, standards, St card files and the Moodle material created by the teacher.

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Independent engineering and drawing with teacher’s feedback, partly contact teaching. Most of the lessons take place in specially equipped computer classes.
