Scheduled studies 42 h
Autonomous studies 40 h

Prerequisites / Recommended Optional Courses

Previous studies in electrical engineering and study units in the Control Logic common core theme.

Contents

Various subject matters in the theme are combined in the project. The assignment is to design and program a control system for a given purpose in teams. The function of the end product is verified by testing it in the laboratory.

Recommended or Required Reading and Other Learning Resources/Tools

Project specific material.

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Guided project working which can include short study units.

Assessment Criteria

1: The student is able, with guidance, to utilise the knowledge/methods/calculations learnt during the study unit.
3: The student is able to utilise the knowledge/methods/calculations learnt during the study unit independently.
5: The student is able to utilise the knowledge/methods/calculations learnt during the study unit independently and combine the knowledge with previously learnt in various contexts.

Assessment Methods

The assessment is based on the activity demostrated in project work and the quality of design and implementation in various phases of the project.
