Learning Outcomes
The student learns the basics of the structure and function of a microprocessor based electronic device. The student learns how to apply the knowledge learnt during the lessons to electronic devices often employed in electrical engineering, such as protection relays, control circuits of frequency converters and PLCs.

The total amount of student's work is 54 h, which contains 28 h of contact studies.

Binary signal and its formats and processing. The structure of an electronic device including the operating principle of memory, processor, A/D converter and D/A converter and operating principle of data and address buses.
