Learning Outcomes

A student becomes familiar with the functions of Vaasa Polytehnic, learning environments and learning society as well as his/her own view of profession. A student understands a construction of his/her own education program, its demands for the graduation and learns how to make his/her self-study-program and follow it. A student learns how to use information searching and information services. Also he/she learns to use eLearning environments used in Vaasa Polytechnic.

Contents

Virtual learning environments and other support functions of Vaasa Polytechnic (use of WebCT and Moodle, Winha, PCs and networks, study guiding, student aid, health care, sport services, international affairs, eLearning and student union). Own view of the profession, own study program and different studying methods. Library services and information search systems. Entering interview and conversations of progress in studies.

Study Guide, web-pages of Vaasa Polytechnic, materieal provided by the library and other material delivered by a teacher.
