The student deepens the knowledge of the configuration of numerical protection relays. The student understands the operation of remote control system used in the field of utility automation.
Contents
Planning of protection applications with numerical relays, relay configuration, parametering and configuration testing. The operation environment of PC based remote control and supervisory system; man-machine communication; alarm end event handling; report generation; devices used in utility automation technology; communication methods and protocols used in remote control applications; network management system
