Learning Outcomes
The student is introduced to the management of industrial processes through controlling. During the study unit, the student learns tools and procedures for modelling industrial processes and control loops and for designing and tuning control loop systems.
Contents
Modelling of processes and control loops, criteria for controlling and assessment of the function of the circuits. Control loop architecture and compensation methods for obtaining the required function. Tuning of control loops with various methods. Simulation software is used for designing and functional testing of control loops.
