Learning Outcomes
The Student masters the scientific research-process or the different phases of a development project. The Student can monitor different phenomena from both theoretical and practical points of view in his own branch. He understands the role of the theoretical frame of reference in a research or development process. The Student is able to choose a relevant and conductable research subject and create a logical research problem and -questions. The Student can search, choose and use relevant sources of information and mark these in a suitable way into the text. The student recognizes and follows ethical guidelines during the research process. The student knows the basics of writing a scientific report and can use language-corrective tools. The Student can, based on the research problem choose suitable research methods. He can plan the empirical research based on the objectives of the study and the resources at hand. The Student can create a suitable tool for collecting relevant data. The Student knows the relevant qualitative and quantitative research methods and is able to use them in practice. The Student is able to collect and analyze empirical matherial that is relevant to the study. The Student can draw scientifically valid conclutions based on on the results of the empical study and the theoretical frame of reference. He is also able to evaluate the validity and reliability of the study. The Student is able to write text based on scientifical writing rules.
