Learning Outcomes

The student understands even more difficult language used in the professional field and is able to produce oral and written professional language needed in the engineer's work, such as trade fair situations, process description, e-mails and business correspondence.

Assessment Criteria

Grade 5: The student is able to communicate fluently, almost without mistakes, both in speech and in writing in work-related situations. S/he has an extensive vocabulary of the field and understands field-specific texts without difficulty. The student can produce a well-structured and almost faultless project report.

Grade 3: The student knows the essential vocabulary and understands the texts in the field. S/he is able to participate in a work-related conversation, with occasional mistakes and errors in the speech. The student is able to produce a project report or an abstract for it.
Grade 1: The student knows the basic vocabulary of the field and understands the main points of texts in the field. S/he can follow work discussions and can give a presentation by reading it from the paper. The student is able to produce a satisfactory project report, or an abstract for it, using a template
