Learning Outcomes

The student knows how to apply regulations concerning drawings and other construction documents. S/He learns to create a detached house documents for the building permit approval.

Student's Workload

Total work load: 108 h - scheduled studies: 56 h - autonomous studies: 52 h. The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Contents

Official drawing regulations and guidelines. Use of a CAD-program and databases. Building permit documents.

Recommended or Required Reading and Other Learning Resources/Tools

Building information cards, the Finnish collection of building regulations, Archicad handbook. Other material given in the beginning of the course.
