Learning Outcomes

The student understands the possibilities of prefabricated construction and on the other hand, the requirements in the implementation of various house types. The student knows the design principles,of various prefabricated units, their manufacturing methods and transportation. S/He knows the equipment needed for erection of prefabricated units, work methods and risks connected with the erection. The student is able to draw up an erection plan.

Contents

Design principkles of concrete, light concrete steel and wooden prefabricated units, manufacturing methods, transportation and erection. Equipment for the erection,erection methods and work safety. Quality requirements and tolerances. Erection plan for prefabricated construction.
