Learning Outcomes

The student will learn to apply the symbols and drawing rules of building construction. The student will learn to use computer aided design tools.

Student's Workload

The total amount of student's work is 108 h, which contains 56 h of contact studies and 52 h of autonomous studies.
The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Contents

Official drawing regulations and norms. Use of CAD software, basics of 3D, databases; building permit drawings.

Recommended or Required Reading and Other Learning Resources/Tools

Finnish building regulations, RT-cards. Tiula: Rakennuspiirustus, määräykset, standardit ja ohjeet. Autocad manual. Other material is announced in the beginning of the course.

Assessment Criteria

Grade 1: The student knows those subjects of the course, which are necessary for the forthcoming studies and working life.
Grade 3: The student is well-abled to utilize the course contents.
