Learning Outcomes

The student will consider safety at construction work an essential area of the ethics in construction industry and will know how to take the proper attitude for it. The student becomes aware of the importance of the safety at construction work and knows the procedures when maintaining and developing industrial safety. Examinations of Safety at Construction Work card and Emergency First Aid card.

Contents

Industrial safety regulations at construction work, objectives and levels of regulations, industrial safety law. The responsibility of the client in industrial safety, industrial safety at design phase. The duties of the main contractor in industrial safety management, official announcements of construction works, inspections on site, licensed works. The prevention of diseases and dangers at construction work, managing the incidents. The general working procedures at working places, provisions for accident situations, emergency first aid actions. TR-measurement.
