Learning Outcomes
The student will learn how the construction projects are managed. The student will learn from the developer's perspective the importance of negotiation, planning, agreements, and project management.
Contents
Feasibility studies, project definition, the complex nature of demand and satisfying requirements, planning the financing method, design process, selection of designers, consulting agreements, stages of design, coordinating design, managing costs, design meetings and design team; project planning, contracting forms, tendering and tender documents; operations at site, affirmation qualification in construction, the responsiblity of the developer to cooperate with contractor, technical, economical and temporal control; site meetings, and setting the disputes; handing over, introduction, acceptance process and the tasks during the warranty period.
